Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Of the many colleges and universities in Florida, the University of Tampa is one of the best places to study and enjoy college life. Not only is UT known for being a great place with high academic standards, but also the diversity and different cultures that are found here make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The amazing weather and location also help—thanks to the fact that Tampa is on the West coast of Florida. There is a wide variety of beaches within minutes of the campus. Also, the nightlife makes the University of Tampa a pretty attractive place for kids who are used to the city style of living.

The school spirit can be felt everywhere, and there is always something to do or an event to attend. Overall, the University of Tampa is a wonderful place to study and also to relax in between coursework. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're home.

Both Are Big

Drinking is pretty big at UT. There are only three wet dorms but that never stops anyone. Drugs are almost as much. Plant Park is the spot to smoke pot and security rarely goes over there.

Not a Whole Lot

Even though Tampa is a city I feel like I never have anything to do! I generally hang out on campus but Bayshore is a great bike or run. Also Channelside and Ybor have some good restaurants and clubs.

Computers at University of Tampa

So-So WIFI

There are both Mac and PC computer labs and there are a lot of them all over campus. The printing system is nice because every student get $20 a semester to print and that has been more then enough for me after two years. The WIFI is pretty bad, my computer will randomly lose connection and every few days I have to re-log into the system.
