Average Opportunities, Average Overall.

Overall, I didn't find UT to be as special as I had hoped it would be. I liked the academic programs offered, overall, but found that I wasn't offered more courses to challenge me the way I wanted. There are a great number of on campus organizations to take part in, however.

Tampa History

Our school used to be an old hotel, what is now Plant Hall and still has the same structure and setup for appealing atmosphere. It is a lot of renovating constantly and a lot of money goes towards that. Famous people like the Kennedy's and former presidents back in the day stayed here.

Traditions Gasparilla Pirate Fest: A fest where everybody dresses like a pirate and heads out to Bayshore and enjoys the parade along the shore.
Urban Legends Plant Hall, which used to be the Tampa Bay Hotel, is a haunted place now. Or so the urban legend goes.
