Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The nightlife around the University of Tampa is pretty diverse, and it can get wild sometimes. There are several house parties that take place near campus every weekend. Some of them are hosted by fraternities or sororities, and since there are not that many rules, these parties can get pretty crazy.

Regarding the nightlife outside of campus, there is a large list of bars and clubs with very affordable covers and drinks. Most of these places are OK for underage students, with the exception of maybe three or four that do not allow underage students. However, for the most part, students that are not 21-and-up can enjoy a great time in many other different venues, like coffee shops and restaurants. The good thing about Tampa is that there are places for every taste. There are clubs that feature Latin nights at least once a week, beach-theme parties, and there are even a few that every now and then will have celebrity guests to host the party. So, overall, the nightlife in Tampa is something that no student will want to miss out on!

Nightlife

I have insomnia, so I have spent many nights wandering around the city of tampa, on the weekends it seems like there is no closing time. Ybor City is usually the spot for clubs and some bars. There are some pretty cool bars all over the place down here, and there is an astonishing amount of underage drinking at these places... be careful.
