There are a lot of flyers around campus, and if the students go to the admissions office, they will find magazines and books that offer great deals and different options. Often, with units close to campus, students find themselves really good deals. Also, moving in with other students makes off-campus housing more affordable.

Students often find off-campus living totally worth it. Many international students live off campus, those students who might find themselves trapped under regulations that they are not used to back in their home country. The parking really sucks..On campus students never go any where..so commuters can never find parking spaces

Expensive Housing and Limited Public Transportation

Off-campus housing has a lot of cons. Housing in downtown Tampa is expensive and it's hard to get enough financial aid to cover it. Also, students that don't have cars will have to walk through downtown to get to school. That's time consuming and not very safe.
