The brand-new, $14 million Student Wellness Center just opened in 2009 featuring gyms, a pool, lazy river, indoor soccer courts, basketball courts, a track, and more. UTC also has a Racquetball Center that many students visit regularly. Overall, most of the older facilities are the ones that are not great, like Lupton Library. A new library is in the works for the near future that will provide more computers and space that the current library does. The University Center was newly renovated in 2006 with many areas to eat, study, and just hang out. Most buildings on UTC's campus are older and do not have much space for hanging out and studying. Most students like the new buildings, like the UC, and are looking forward to the new facilities in the future.

It is clear that UTC is constantly working to improve its campus and student satisfaction. The deans at UTC are very receptive to new ideas because they know that the University has room for improvement and are aware that attendance is steadily increasing, requiring bigger and better facilities. Though many students are unhappy with UTC's current facilities, many new and better ones are on the horizon.
