Don't Bother – I don't bother using the computers on campus. Labs don't always have great hours and during finals they're extremely crowded. It's also frustrating being kicked off the faster internet after using a certain amount of bandwidth.

Health & Safety:
Safe & Secure – UT has a multitude of resources available to keep students safe. We have an on-campus police force with emergency stations set up all over campus. We also have programs like Surewalk that offer students the safety of walking home with another students at all hours of the night.

The weather here is nice but you can never tell about Texas. One day it might be cold the nice day it might be so hot. The weather is mostly nice though.

Health & Safety:
There have been times that i haven't felt safe, but the streets are quite lit and it is not that dark. There are alot of help police boxes so you can always get a hold of the police if you ever felt threatened. Other than that the campus is pretty safe. Bikes get stolen alot so I would say to have multiple locks and to register your bike.

The facilities here on campus are great. They are very useful with resources and are a great source for information. They are also clean and is renovated. Most facilities are a great place to hang out and study with friends.

Lots of White Students – The school isn't as diverse as they claim. In a school of 50,000 students only 5,000 are Black, but the redeeming quality is that the black community is generally close.

Apartments Are Expensive – The apartments are really really expensive and not that big but they are really good if your an R.A. (they're free), and they come with a meal plan and your closer to all the activities/events on campus.

Usually Really Good. The computers on campus are generally good except sometimes they don't work and during finals times the computer labs are full but there are a lot of labs.

Its Not Really the Greatest. The scholarships aren't the best thing at UT because its very hard to find them and its also really hard to get loans.

It doesn't really rain in Austin and It doesn't really get that cold, every once in a while it snows, but the only problem is that the summers are HOT like triple digit degrees til like November/December.

Very Helpful Teachers. The professors are very helpful, they are willing to work with you whenever you need help, like my chemistry teacher was willing to help me morning, noon and night just so that I can pass the chemistry.

I here of a lot of students who will come baked to class. A lot of students could be seen smoking from a hookah on campus. But now, UT has instilled a no smoking policy and the campus is smoke free so there shouldn't be too much of a problem with cigarettes or hookahs anymore. As for other drugs, i don't know too much about those circulating around campus to give an honest answer.

Party Scene – Austin, Texas has a variety of hot spots all around the center of town. Most explicitly is 6th street. This main street is filled with bars and live music all night long. There are a few under 21 joints but the majority of the time you're either sneaking in or partying at a frat house.
