University of Texas at Austin is very liberal. People are weird and crazy but in a very special way. They are friendly and outspoken. There are many things to do around here: concerts, parks, museums, malls, clubs/bars, etc.

General Campus Aesthetics – Buildings and facilities are nice, great recreational facilities, some buildings are somber and depressive mostly the libraries

Computer Lab – Wireless connectivity is great, need more printing funds for students, and computers are in good shape

A group for everyone – There literally is a group or organization suited for everyone. I can't imagine anyone having a hard time fitting in to UT. The University also has the money and resources to create many different and interesting programs, from research to special events, to keep students happy and occupied.

Guys & Girls:
Interesting Most of the Time – Most people take care of their bodies and dress comfortably. It gets hot frequently, so shorts and a t-shirt are standard. Most sorority girls and fraternity guys dress alike but other than that, everyone has their own style. Hipster/indie style is a big deal in Austin, so that is seen often as well.

Rigorous but Resourceful – The teachers are helpful and experienced (and have many interesting stories). The work load can be difficult, but plenty of help is available. Academic advisors do a good job of planning out the degree path.

Buses Are the Answer – There are buses running almost everyday except for weekends most of the time. The bus during the week can get you wherever you need, but it's kind of inconvenient on weekends.

Food Is Okay – Most of the places around campus are good. You don't find a wide variety of food through the dining halls. Most of them are serving the same food for the most part. Overall though, most of the food is good though. It just gets tiring after a while.

Nice Atmosphere, but Its Quite Competitive – With the grading system unlike any I have had, it literally makes every grade/assignment count. Classes are quite intensive but if you exercise time management, there is a good sports scene and places to hang out all over campus. Lots of fun!

On our snow days this semester, school was cancelled. There is a great bad weather policy and if you feel you are endangered by coming to class then you don't have to come in inclimate weather. Other than that, TX is very windy in the spring but, as any Texan will tell you, if you don't like the weather - wait until tomorrow!

I know that it is there but I have not really seen much of it.

Sunshine most of the time – In south Texas it hardly snows. Most of the time it is sunny outside or rainy. Either way we must continue living.

Buses Are My Choice – In Austin public transportation is convinient. The main campus is downtown where the buses run full schedules throughout the day.

Haven't Visited – I have not visited the campus yet. I am scheduled for a campus visit later on this month. Hopefully the campus is great.

Guys & Girls:
Jocks and Ditzes – You like fraternity guys who love football and alcohol and George Bush, this here's your place. Or engineering types who are complete virgins and will never talk to a female. Either way, FAIL.
Girls are generally either obnoxious sorority types or sweet, normal chicks.

Impossible to Get a Room, Sucks If You Do – Dilapadated, noisy, confusing, horrible roommates, possible not to live on campus your whole time there. Fail.

Pretty Good – Off campus housing can be really expensive but deals are out there for those who take the time to look. I found a great deal, but I am a hard core hunter of good deals. Might be tougher for the average person so i'll rate it lower.

Top Notch – It's like an educational wonderland. The professors are top notch and the classes are interesting and awesome.

Great Town – Austin is wonderful. Great arts, music, food and all of that. Everyone is pretty friendly but they are wrapped up in their own thing. It's a little hard to make friends right away. Especially as a transfer student.

Patrol Guys – Our patrol guys are pretty cool, but if youre out of line they will do something about it.

Our school is full of people of all different backgrounds. and not to mention UT is ranked number 2 in the nation of having students who study abroad

Health & Safety:
Safe Place – UT is a very safe campus. its well secured and it is open enough where nothing can happen that no one wouldn't see. definitely a great safe place

Food of Any Kind – There are tons of places around the campus to eat. Foods of all sorts can be found within walking distance of the campus.

Computer Labs – Most labs here are good.
