A question about Honors at UT: is it too late to get in? I know the deadline has passed but would it be impossible to join later, perhaps sophomore year? I feel up to the challenge and I would like to get the most out of a longhorn education. If it is too late, what are some other options for those who aren't in honors, besides getting really good grades? (Ex. Study abroad) thanks in advance (:

I don't think it is too late to get in. When I visited the campus in November, they told me that come students who display excellent grades and leadership will be invited to their respective honors programs before the beginning of their sophomore year.
