The most prevalent drugs on the UT campus are, without a doubt, alcohol and marijuana. However, if someone wants any type of drug, it is likely that he or she will be able to get it fairly easily. Most anyone knows someone, or knows someone who knows someone, who can get their hands on cocaine or any type of pill that they want-ecstasy, speed and the like. Heroin, however, does not seem to be that prevalent. Most students at UT drink, no matter what their age, and getting a hold of alcohol if you are underage is fairly simple.

Most students at UT consider weed not to be an illegal drug, but put it in the same category with alcohol. Whether you are a pot smoker or not, you will not feel pressure to do so at UT. Students here respect one another and tend not to violate another students personal space. So overall, drugs are available if you want them.
