The Greeks do a lot around the school. They tend to dominate student government and volunteer events, but they are not necessary for social life.

I'm not a part of any frats so I can't really say how they are. But some of my friends enjoy a lot in frat parties

Greek life on campus is mostly for parties, however there are a couple chapters that do some real good for the community.
