This school just throws money at you. You may not want to attend due to the other negative things such as the lack of a football team and the terrible social life on campus but you get suckered in due to the amount of money they offer you.

Jump on the scholarships UTD has to offer quick. All of them have deadlines, and lots of requriements. Most all have too many requirements that make it hard for incoming students to take advantage of.

Being my first year at UTD, I didn't apply nor look for scholarships prior to attending the fall semester in 2012. I finished my first year at UTD with a 3.59 GPA and I made the Dean's list in the Spring of 2013. Finding and applying for scholarships that meet your personal criteria is nearly impossible.

It is very easy to get the AED scholarship. Based on what I have heard, nearly half the school gets some sort of scholarship. There are even students who come from the local community colleges, and they are awarded with a scholarship that pays for half of their tuition! You don't need to apply for the AED scholarship (you are "automatically" considered for the scholarship once you have submitted your application). Although, there are more scholarships from different departments that you have to personally apply for.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
