Schedule a Group Info Session or Interview

UT arranges special group visits for groups of 10 or more college-bound high school students. During these group visits, there are presentations by staff and students, as well as offer a tour of campus. Please call (512) 475-7440 (“schedule a visit for 10 or more people” option) at least two weeks before your group’s desired visit date to schedule an appointment.

Campus Tours

High school juniors and seniors and their families are encouraged to visit the campus to learn more about UT. Staff at the Freshman Admissions Center will help arrange a campus visit to address your interests and needs as a prospective student. Please call (512) 475-7440 at least two weeks in advance to schedule an appointment. The University also sponsors guided walking tours of the campus for non-college-bound visitors. These depart from the Information Desk on the ground floor of the Main Building (UT Tower). Tours are offered Monday through Saturday most of the year. Reservations are not required.

Overnight Visits

There are no specifically scheduled overnight visits, except for Longhorn Honors, which is for students who have been offered admission to the University. High school seniors who have been offered admission to UT are invited to an overnight stay and a full day of activities on campus. Prospective students will have the opportunity to interact with current UT students, faculty, and staff.
