There's a lot of pot freshman year, but I don't notice too much of anything else. After freshman year, a lot of people stopped smoking and drinking so much because of the work load. I guess some people take ADHD meds to focus on work but I don't see too much of a huge issue of that.

Drug Safety is very efficient in that UARTS promotes a focus on a healthy education. As a student, I feel at peace and safety knowing that the integrity of my environment ensures a healthy student atmosphere that cultivates learning, maturity and growth at every turn.

UArts students know how to throw a party, and do so with relative discretion and responsibility. Most often, you'll have students hanging out in a small group of friends drinking or smoking- lots of people here consider themselves artists, of course, and smoking is about as popular as drinking. UArts does require students to complete an alcohol and drug awareness course online during the first semester. The dorms each handle drugs and alcohol differently, some more lenient than others. Still, it's not a big deal if that's not your idea of a good time, so no one really cares.

Alcohol and Weed – Alcohol and pot are the two very most prominent drugs that college kids from 2011 are doing. I would not say that many people are alcoholics, however there are a couple of potheads. This really is not a problem for the school itself, the students seem to be under control with most of it. It is very very easy to obtain these materials when necessary. I feel like 95% of the school smokes cigarettes though. You'd have more kids outside smoking than in class! It sort of is expected at an art school though.

Lots of Pot. Pot is widespread. So are other drugs. We're artists after all. It's not really dangerous though, people know their limits and ceilings, and if they don't they are taken care of by their friends.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
