Because you are in a city, there is no limit to off campus housing though it can be quite pricy. That being said, it is no more expensive than living in the dorms and since you are only guaranteed a place in the dorms freshman year, most students live off campus.

Philadelphia has an abundance of apartments of all sizes and prices- easy enough to share space and rent with a few friends. There are many buildings virtually on campus, as the dorms are apartments themselves and neighboring these "off campus" apartments. There are also many choices nearby or farther away. There is certainly something out there for every student who chooses to live out of the dorms.

Apartments Are Everywhere – At University of the Arts alot of students are living off campus because it is relatively cheaper thatn staying on campus. There is a plethora of apartments for you to choose from in Philly especially with graduating seniors leaving nand they need someone to take over their lease you could easily just move in with a class mate. There apartments are not even that expensive especially for you to have roomates. The aparments aren't that spacious that would be the only downfall.

Apartments can be expensive or cheap depending if you put the time in to look for them.

Apartments Are Expensive – Off campus living is your only option after freshmen year. If you want an apartment close to the school buildings, in Center City, it will be expensive. If your willing to commute from South Philly or West or North, then it will be much cheaper. You pay for the location.
