Because you are in a city, there is no limit to off campus housing though it can be quite pricy. That being said, it is no more expensive than living in the dorms and since you are only guaranteed a place in the dorms freshman year, most students live off campus.

Though it can be tedious working with the financial aid department at times, I do have to say that the school is quite liberal with scholarships. Just about everyone who gets accepted here has some sort of financial aid through the school and most of the times things do run smoothly, though there have been hiccups in certain instances.

Places in Philly are good, but they close early. Don't expect to eat out past 10 pm at most dining places unless it's 21+.

Some parts of campus have fuzzy wifi, but it's overall good. It sucks you HAVE TO get a macbook, even if you are a theater or dance major. Try to fight the system and just get something affordable if your major isn't having much to do with computers.
