Hungry? If so, there is a wide variety of foods to choose from to satisfy your appetite. However, many students do seem to complain a lot about the food, especally the cafeteria food in Marian, though most of the complaining is due to the cost of the meal plans. Also, students may not like the menu for the day. Many students will simply complain because they miss home-cooked meals, which, of course, are nothing like what the cafeteria has to offer.
The good thing is that there are several places to get food on campus. There is Hortencia's, which makes Chick-fil-A menu options, as well as freshly made salads and sandwiches and a few grocery items as well. There is also Java on the Hill, which serves pizza, wings, sandwiches, and some alcoholic beverages (available only to those who are 21 and older, of course). Finnegan's is the schools coffeeshop, located inside the library building, which brews fresh Starbucks coffee daily and offers freshly made sandwiches and salads. Although there isn't much to choose from, a vegetarian section is offered in the Marian cafeteria, and the cafeteria is always open for suggestions, so if there is something that you would like changed or added, make sure to speak up!
