Gay Pride
Stand out, a relatively new student organization, is the official "gay" club at UIW. For the most part, students are accepting of gays, although there are always the few that are not very supporting. As a Catholic university, UIW is pretty good about welcoming these individuals into UIW.
Political Activity
The student body is mostly moderate-not too conservative but not too liberal.
Economic Status
There is a mixture of everything: Students who attend UIW thanks to scholarships and grants, and there are also those whose parents are blessed enough to be able to pay for their college education. Regardless of where you may stand, there is no segregation, and every one gets along with each other.
Most Common Religions
UIW is a private Catholic school, so Catholicism is a very common religion among students. As a result, there are certain organizations that are religiously affiliated, such as prayer groups.
Minority Clubs on Campus
Here at UIW, there is a variety of multicultural clubs, such as the Hispanic Latino Association and the International Student Association, just to name a few. Many of these clubs and associations do a lot of community service work.
