Whether you are over 21, barely legal, or still underage, San Antonio has a lot of night life to offer. You will never be bored because there is always something to do. During your freshman year at UIW, you will come across different types of people who have different interests who like to drink, smoke, party, club—you name it. Downtown San Antonio has a lot of nightlife. It is especially fun for those who are 21 and older, since there are so many bars to go to.
When freshmen first start school, the majority of them want to go out and see what fun San Antonio has to offer. Many students who are still underage enjoy going to hookah bars since they do not serve alcohol yet they have a very vibrant environment. Since UIW is not a huge party school, you will not always find dorm parties on campus. You will find a lot of parties at the bigger schools, such as UTSA, or if you go a little further, Texas State University in San Marcos. Either way, let's be real—you are going to college, so it is assured that there will be parties all the time!
