Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

One of the many great things about coming to UIW is its location. The University is located in a very central area of San Antonio, so other areas of the city won't seem to be very far away. However, it is still not a good idea to walk to other areas of the city. Instead, it is encouraged that you take some type of transportation, whether it be your own car, a friend's car, the Via bus, or if all else fails, a local taxi service. Probably the most convenient way to get around the city is having your own car or asking a friend for a ride.

To get around within campus, the shuttle buses offer a great service. They are very convenient, especially when the heat is at its prime or when you parked far from your class. The shuttle service has several convenient stops where you can wait for the next bus to pick you up.
