Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The University of the Ozarks has an excellent, top-grade, and awesome education. The University is different from any other school you'll ever visit. Academics is number one, and extracurricular activities come second. The workload may be intense and massive, but the teachers push the students to their absolute potential. Everyone wants each person to succeed. By the time the students graduate, they are properly prepared for graduate studies or the professional workforce. The social networking system at the University is essential, as it is important for students to connect for future job references that could possibly help them with job opportunities later on. Internships are vital to some majors, and professors continually encourage students to apply for internships, summer jobs, or study abroad programs. Professors perform their job, help students within and outside their majors, and constantly promote the University.

The help students receive at the University of the Ozarks is unlike any other. Through the JLC (Jones Learning Center), students with learning or physical disabilities are assisted with homework, while the SSS (Student Support Services) lab and the ACE (Academic Center for Excellence) lab also provide help for students. The Career Services office offers students resume assistance, job finding skills, tips for better interviewing, reading materials about current jobs, and job and internship search websites. Overall, the University promotes success and gives students so many opportunities to succeed. However, attending U of O takes passion and a lot of determination for students to prosper and grow in their education.

I personally really like the school because of the small town atmosphere which is how i grew up. Nice and kind people almost everywhere you go. And you get more one on one when it comes to school and class. I would come here again because its small not to big and a very good college to attend with nice facilities to get whatever you need done.

Different but Similar

There are many different types of peoples at the Ozarks. But when it comes to social life and looks there seems to be a lot of similarities between these differences. These similarities bring everyone together from mexican, central american, black, white, brazilian, and many others. Everyone is very inviting and dress anywhere from laid back to formal, no outcast here.
