ARAMARK is the food service company the University chooses to go through in order for the students to be fed seven days a week. The Campus Cafeteria is open to all on-campus students who have purchased one of the meal plans, and faculty, staff, visitors, and off-campus students pay at the door or pay with a purchased commuter meal plan. All students living in University residence halls must participate in a meal plan. On weekdays, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the Campus Cafeteria; on weekends, brunch and dinner. The dining hall features several food stations where you can choose from a variety of entrées. There's a salad bar, a pizza bar, a dessert bar, a soup bar, and three hot food stations that serve ethnic cuisine, hamburgers, and more.
Downstairs in the Seay Student Center, The Eagle's Nest café serves a variety of hot sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken strips, fries, and soft drinks. The café also offers salads, ice cream, and fresh coffee at the Java City coffee station. Students can pay for selections at The Eagle's Nest using declining balance dollars on their meal plan, or they can pay using credit or debit cards, cash, or checks. At either cafeteria, there is always a choice to eat healthy or vegetarian, but kosher is harder to come by. The Eagle’s Nest does not have as many options for people counting calories or avoiding meat. However, no one goes hungry at the University of the Ozarks.
