I had an amazing experience at U of T, and a big part of that was just living in downtown Toronto. I met people from every possible corner of the world, and got to try amazing new cuisine I had never had before! This is a world-class institution, where I received a great education and learned so much more about life.

Ideal Campus, Ideal City – Toronto is a huge city with everything you could possibly want open to you at age 19. The lower age of majority enables students, by the end of their second year, to go to any club or bar they choose. Apart from nightlife, there are always big and small-name musical acts coming through. The surrounding neightborhood is filled with small cafes, shops and restaurants, especially the Kensington Market, a haven for real and casual hippies. Sports are pretty exciting, Leafs tickets are impossible to come by (and pretty useless), but Raptors, Jays and Marlies tickets are an enjoyable investment.

Welcome to Adulthood – The University of Toronto St. George campus is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, and is situated ideally for students to develop themselves and be comfortable in their own skin. Toronto is home to many diverse and enriching festivals, museums, galleries and a warm, accepting population. The balance of party districts, business centers, shopping malls and school work are a great way to come to grow into an independent, responsible, and involved member of society. I don't think you could find a better place to learn and be yourself.

City Life Overpowers Student Life – Living in Toronto, temptation abounds. The university of Toronto demands much in terms of academics from its student population, and so student life tends to suffer. Thankfully, for students interested in extra--curricular activities, the city of Toronto is rich in offerings.
