As far as I know, there are no conection for students between the University of Tulsa other universities in this city, and in my opinion, this connection should be improved

The Computers in the labs are in good conditions, and in each lab there is enough computer, but the number of the computer labs should increase

The parking system at the University of Tulsa is well kept. The cost of the permit for an academic year is very reasonable. The availability of parking spaces is becoming an issues, but given the small size of the campus, everything is within a 7 minutes - at worst - walking distance. The need for a car on campus is dependence on whether a student need to go off campus.

The computer labs on campus are readily available, although not every computer is up-to-date with the most appropriate operating system. The printing system is monitored by a quota. The network on campus is only limited to within or close range of buildings, but the speed of the network is fantastic. Even though there are computer labs throughout campus, it is necessary to bring your own laptop.

Living on campus have perks and amenities that not many students would see right away. The social interactions with students, professors, and faculty is invaluable to building a great social network. The residential hall are consistently watch over, and order is maintain to a good degree. There are always activities and events happening just right around the corner on campus. Since this particular campus - the University of Tulsa - is small enough, everything is within walking distance.

To get into my program of study as an undergraduate Chemical Engineering major, there were no specific requirements or process. However, the difficult part is getting through the program and being able to graduate with an accredited degree.

I have not had an internship before. I plan on seeking an internship in the coming Spring semester of 2014. Prior, I have had the intention of only applying to Medical School after my undergraduate program at the University of Tulsa, but now, I want to consider my career in the Chemical Engineering field as a possibility or "fall-back" plan. The few concerns that I have with finding an internship are where do I start and how I should go about finding one. At the University of Tulsa, I have been an active through my position as a Housing Resident Assistant, Chemistry Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant.

Tulsa is known for its restaurants. There are more restaurants here per square mile than there are anything else. Of the multitude of options there are plenty of ethnic and diverse flavors available. Tulsa is known for its dining experience.

Shuttles are constantly running, but they are a little unnecessary during the week, as they only run around the campus, which is already rather small. On some weekends, they make excursions to local stores (like Target) and a mall, but I would like to see this expanded. Campus police, on the other hand, has a great policy of free rides across campus late at night, should you feel uncomfortable walking alone.

Health & Safety:
While CamPo (Campus Police) has a solid and visible presence on campus, at times I am a little wary. For example, some paths on campus aren't sufficiently lit. Additionally, there are reports of crime near campus. However, the university and CamPo usually do a pretty good job of notifying students.

Though many students are involved with Greek Life, there are just as many not associated with it, if not more, despite what the Greek perspective may report. The Greek presence on campus is assuredly visible, but does not have to be overwhelming. Compared to other (often larger) universities, TU has relatively few fraternities and sororities.

The cost of a parking permit is $50. That wouldn't be so bad, but it only covers one specific lot. Which means you can't drive across campus to get to class or rehearsal. And if you do get caught parked in a lot you aren't supposed to be in, you get very little warning before being towed.

Tulsa is a pretty fun place. There are some great and somewhat cheap restaurants around, and there is plenty of fast food right across from campus. The campus itself is friendly and small.

I have numerous serious illnesses in my family, and it wasn't until the end of my junior year that I was finally able to get the financial aid office to take them into consideration. I have over $50,000 in debt from going here. And I was a straight A student in high school with AP classes and a 31 on the ACT.

There are numerous computers available in the computer lab, but they are a bit out of date and sometimes freeze up. They also cannot open some files, which means you really need to have access to your own computer and printer if you want to print sheet music from musicnotes or anything like that.
College Senior 2013-07-25T19:59:26Z
There are various computer labs across campus that happen to be very accessible during the day. However, if there is ever a need during late night hours, options become much more limited, especially depending on the major that you have as some don't stay open overnight. The issue that I have is the network. The terminals that are available in labs are connected in an unsecure manner to the network, and the WiFi around campus can be very unreliable.

The living spaces themselves are really not bad at all. In fact they are expanding their housing options to some off campus apartments and a new residence hall. The problem that I have with campus housing is the hassels of signing up for a housing assignment as well as how helpful the housing office is, not the RA's, AC's, ACA's, or RD's, but the people working in the office. From observation, and a little bit of experience, the office is disorganized and can potentially not be helpful at all or certain situations

University of Tulsa drug scene is not much of a big deal. It is closely monitored.

Average. Parking is just absurd to deal with, and Camp Po focuses too much on little things that they miss actual important issues like robbers on campus.
I do not live on campus so i cant say too much about much else, but i know a LOT of people drink and get away with it easily...so yeah.

It's a D1 school but most students don't care about the sports here except for the actual athletes
College Junior 2013-03-27T19:55:31Z
It's actually in a pretty trashy area. The University is what gives life to this area. THe actual area is pretty rough and it is considered dangerous to be walking outside at night on campus. But there are nice restaurants near campus if you can drive to downtown, 15th street, or cherry street.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
