School Spirit
Students at UVM love their Catamounts! Students can be seen sporting their UVM attire on any given day around campus. Both the men's and women's hockey teams are followed religiously by students and local residents alike. The UVM men's team, in particular, has been very successful over the years. They have won four conference titles in the last decade alone. The men's basketball team has also experienced recent success-particularly in the 2005 NCAA tournament when they defeated perennial the powerhouse Syracuse in the second round.
