Facts & Statistics

Best Ways to Get Around Town
  • The buses are convenient, for the most part, but sometimes it is a pain to wait.
  • It's virtually impossible just to hail a taxi cab, unless you're at the airport or train station. Usually, you must call ahead for one.
  • Perhaps the best way to get around town is to drive-either have a car, or use a friend for theirs.
Best Ways to Get to the Airport
  • A cab ride to the airport costs around $30.
  • Follow Route 29 North approximately 8 miles past Forest Lakes Subdivision and shopping center on right. At next intersection turn left onto Route 649 and follow Route 649 to a four-way stop at intersection of State Routes 649 (Airport Road), 606 (Dickinson Road), and Bowen Loop Road. Proceed straight through this intersection onto Bowen Loop Road, and follow to air carrier terminal complex.
