| Alumni Publications | |
- Columns Magazine is a quarterly publication sent to all graduates of UW. It contains stories pertaining to UW history and current events as well as notes on alumni activities.
- The Washington Review comes out three times a year for alumni, students, and friends of the University, and is put out by UW’s public relations department. The Alumni Gazette is part of the Washington Review dedicated to alumni.

- Coaches Tour Started in 1971, the Coaches Tour brings together alumni and friends with Husky Coaches for a day of golf, followed by an evening dinner.
- Dawg Dash: Annual run and walk which winds through the UW campus.
- Dawg Days in the Desert/Chow Down: Held in Palm Springs, CA each spring, this multi-day event features lectures from current faculty members, a golf tournament, and a dinner featuring noted University guests.
- Lectures: The Alumni Association’s annual lecture series and luncheons.
- Lifelong Learning Partnership: Lecture series, arts, celebrations, and special recognition galas for College of Arts & Sciences’ alumni of distinction.
- Reunions: Homecoming week welcomes graduates back to campus with reunion classes holding special activities. The alumni association traditionally sponsors events for classes celebrating their 50-year reunion.
- UW on the Road: A series featuring University professors speaking on various topics in cities across the nation.
- Welcome to Washington: Alumni help welcome new students to the University.

- Beverly Cleary (Class of '39) – beloved author of children's books, including her popular Ramona books and 1984 Newberry Medal-winning "Dear Mr. Henshaw"
- Patrick Duffy (Class of '71) – actor, producer, and director of the sitcom "Step by Step"
- David Horsey (Class of '75) – Seattle Post-Intelligencer political cartoonist; won the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for his editorial cartoons, syndicated in 450 newspapers
- Kenneth "Kenny G" Gorelick (Class of '78) – pop-jazz musician called the "world's most popular saxophonist" by the New York Times
- David Guterson (Class of '78, Class of '82) – author who won the 1995 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction for his first novel, "Snow Falling on Cedars"
