I don't know much about greek life, but they're pretty involved in the campus. They also throw rather raucous parties on greek row.

Do you know anyone that does NROTC or any ROTC and is in the Greek system? I am gonna be a freshman thus fall and I'm considering rushing!

Hey Ryan! There are three current members of ROTC in my fraternity and two more coming in next year. We just had a member graduate who was the head of the Navy division. He's now attending flight school, so it is definitely possible to do both activities. I 100% recommend at least rushing around and get a feel for different houses to see which ones could fit your schedule.

How does Fraternity Rush work? I heard it is informal in the summer. How does an Out of State incoming freshman participate? Also do many guys who join a fraternity live in the dorms as freshmen?

Pretty standard Greek life for a public university.

It sounds like rushing for a frat is mainly in the summer. That is difficult for an incoming freshman who is coming out of state. How does rush work for out of state freshman? Also, do many guys live in dorm first year and belong to a frat?
