How much aid do students usually receive from the school itself?
good question, I would like to know that myself.
They have few scholarships and very little Federal Student Work Study money. Whether or not you have Hope Scholarship and the Pell Grant you will still have to take out a loan. the financial aid I receive from them does not cover half of my expenses with tuition, room and board, book fees, etc.
I have both Hope and Pell. I am a full time student and all together they pay about $2,500 and my tuition is a little over $5,000.
If you want to do more research though, the link below will take you to the financial aid office of UWG:

Hope this helps.
Well I got the full amount for Pell grant. As far as other aid it was due to loans..

Our school provides an abundant amount of resources to the students. We have an excellent career and counselling center that help many students, and our health center I provides all types of medical resources to us as well.
Aid is only received from the school itself, if the student applies for a school scholarship, so it varies.
Most of the time students receive about 500 to 1000 dollars
They usually receive pell grant depending on the family income.
The school and teachers offer 100% free tutoring for students that require it. However, every class is built so that these sessions are not usually needed!
I believe there is Aid available if you apply. There is more aid available based on financial need.
Students may receive aid from a variety of scholarships offered by the school itself. It is very convenient for students to apply for school scholarships.
My school offers many scholarship oppurtuinty for students
Georgia's Lottery pays a portion of the tuition if you are in state, go to a state school, and have a certain GPA. UWG has work programs and offer scholarships which are hard to receive.

Most of the aid people get from the school are loans and grants.
Not really sure. I am going to check it out!
Students receive a fair amount of aid. Usually enough to just pay for tuition and housing. However aid does not fully cover the cost of other necessities such as: books and food. On a 1-10 basis Financial aid is a 6.
I think we each receive a good amount of financial aid, I wish more was available to receive because everybody isn't able to pay out of pocket.
They usually give an adequate amount of Financial aid.
Usually whatever you apply for. They have a website full of information.
I believe the school does all it can too help each and every student.
The financial aid package doesn't usually cover the entire cost of attendance.
UWG is very helpful and involved with it's students. They do everything they can to give us the best college experience.
I, personally, have received none from the school aside from loans.
It all depends on if you meet the requirements to receive and aid from the school. They usually give grants and scholarships to those who are eligible.
what type of aid? Scholarly, they have many different programs set in place so that you have every chance to succeed.
