I've received great help from financial aide for my schooling at UW- La Crosse.

The process was easy to apply for financial aid. However, I did not receive the financial aid I needed.

Financial Aid has always been a frustrating thing. I made it through FAFSA eventually and got the aid I needed. This year I was not awarded as much which is why I am looking into scholarships. They do provide you with some help and resources for financial aid, but ultimately it is up to us to seek assistance and additional resources.

They have their guidelines and if you are outside of them it is a struggle to get what you need. I am a student at the school, but am participating in a program that has me student-teaching in Milwaukee. I received aid based on the cost of living in La Crosse (about half of that in Milwaukee), I applied for more and I was cut and dry declined because I met my aid allotment for the year. Pretty disappointing.

I always get financial aid and the process is easy but they do not offer a lot of different scholarships. I have never been able to apply for them because of the limits on who can apply.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
