The professors are very willing to work with students that are having trouble in their classes. The biology and chemistry professors are doing research with students that provide a hands on opportunity to learn the material.

I enjoy being in the education program because a big part of the curriculum involves being placed in the schools doing observations and gaining classroom experience.

There is quite a bit of green space and the town has many parks and trails available.
College Sophomore 2013-11-03T21:03:50Z
There are many students that partake in alcohol and drugs. Most parties that involve alcohol take place in students' houses in town off campus. About every other restaurant downtown Main Street is a bar.

I transferred into UW-River Falls last semester and have enjoyed being involved with the Newman Center and I like how close to my home the school is.

The main street in the UW-River Falls has many options of dining options from small town diners to fast food and bars. The selection is very good.
College Sophomore 2013-11-03T20:52:30Z
UW-River Falls has an alcohol policy for the dorms that if you have people all over 21 in the room you can have alcohol, but not if anyone is under 21.

The Party scene seems to be pretty good from what I have heard. But I am not a part of the party scene I stay away from it because it's not my thing.

It is situated next to a small town. The street is very cute and has many little shops.

Health & Safety:
I have always felt safe on campus. It is a small campus and it is well lit so I have never been concerned.

On campus parking is expensive, but you are guaranteed a spot near your building. They are strict with ticketing those without permits, so don't park where you don't have a permit!

I enjoy my major because it deals with the aspects of Marketing that I find interesting. Marketing Communications is a very unique major to be at a university and I am glad I have the opportunity to be in it!

All the professors are amazing and willing to help you if you need it. They have been the highlight of my short time being at this school!

I wish there was a shuttle for students to take and go to the cities from time to time on the weekend.

I love it here! The only downfall is that the advisors that are on duty for paying for college do not go above and beyond. I don't understand a lot of the possibilities that I have to pay for college and they do not seem to care about keeping me here. If money was my only reason to leave.

There tends to be only international students and caucasians on campus. The African American ratio to the rest of campus is very low. The campus itself tends to be more of the traditional sense, but has a lot of activities for all walks of life.

There are a lot of different sport teams, and the intramural sports are a lot of fun. I've participated in a few of the intramural sport teams, and they are well organized and a lot of fun.

The classrooms are very nice, especially the new lecture room that was built last year. There are a variety of computer labs with nice computers and the library has a lot of space and good hours.

There are quite a few foreign exchange students here, which is really nice because it creates diversity. I actually have a roommate from Saudi Arabia which is really cool, and I feel like I've learned a lot about his country and culture. On the other hand, the majority of students here are white.
College Junior 2013-10-18T22:16:45Z
The campus is really beautiful, and all the buildings are pretty nice. I have taken classes in the Chemistry, Animal Science, and Biology majors and have enjoyed all of them. The only reason I didn't rate A+ is because some of the the Chemistry professors aren't very good. The majority of professors really care about you doing well in their classes, but a lot of the Chemistry teachers could care less.

I am happy with what I have taken so far looking at staying in college to complete my future from accounting to a CPA, I am also focusing on finance with a business major. The Finance world is huge and not sure that is the right avenue for me but every business small and large need accounts or CPA's. so will look further into that area of accounting. I live near the Minneapolis and St.Paul area Business companies to chose and apply for.

I have been on campus for one year and now entering my second yr and I took a summer class and I feel I am getting my money worth. I have tested out of a few classes also.I could have a intern job but had to turn down due to the fact I have a part-time job since high school that I still work at. I am on the lacrosse team. I have a great working relationship with my counselor for my classes. I have been looking at studying abroad for German next year.

always a security person around when I am on campus.
