Not many others compare to the University of Wisconsin campuses. I, along with many others, love the Rock County campus as it offers great opportunities for not only education, but financial, work, athletic, and art opportunities. The students at this campus work to excel in there classes and have a great amount of pride and motivation. The campus is also filled with not only intellectual instructors but those with the charisma and whim. I am very proud the call The University of Wisconsin- Rock County campus my school.

My experience at the University of Wisconsin - Sheboygan has overall been an enjoyable one. I was not able to go off to a four year university like most of my classmates, but I was still able to get a sense of the college experience for a reasonable price. I still would have preferred to go to a four year university had I been able to since the size of UW Sheboygan limits the opportunities students have regarding classes and activities.

The University of Wisconsin has a unique architecture that defines itself.

I have only taken one online course through UW Sheboygan, but from my experience so far I can say that my professor truly cares about the welfare of her students and is willing to take time in helping students outside of class.

I have had no trouble with making changes to deadlines or seeking further assistance with the teaching staff. I have not had to deal with many administrative staff.

The school has three computer labs available to students, two of which are open for most of the day unless a class has scheduled to use it. Printing on campus is done with the use of a printing account. The students are given a certain amount in the beginning of each semester and each printing job depletes money from that amount. The entire school has WI-fi capabilities. There are laptops which the students may temporarily rent from the library.

The resources on campus are good from what I can tell. There is a library staffed with many knowledgeable staff who are happy to help students. There is also a writing lab open on weekdays to assist students in perfecting their written assignments. The school also has a functional recreational center where students are able to engage themselves aerobically and anaerobically with the use of treadmills, free weights, and other training apparatuses.

The school does not provide very much information about post graduate schooling. They stress the transferring to one of the University of Wisconsin four year schools after receiving an associates degree from them.

The majority of the students at the University of Wisconsin - Sheboygan are Caucasian young adults that graduated from the surrounding high schools.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I didn't apply for financial aid, and sometimes I feel that I'm not getting all of my money's worth, but for the most part it's okay.

The athletics center isn't that extensive. Nothing really is that exceptional, but they are adequate.
College Student 2013-10-26T18:13:24Z
Facilities in general are okay. The library is not very extensive, except online. The computer labs are nice. The connector area is probably the nicest place on campus. Otherwise the buildings are nothing special.

There are times, when more students aren't in class, that the network is slow. Printing used to be a problem, but is fixed now. The labs are good. I don't feel a need for a personal computer.

The majority of the students at my school are either International students, or students who are not planning on staying very long, since it's a 2 year campus. There are also a lot of returning adults-usually mothers. Despite the shortness of the expected stay at UW-R and the mix of age ranges, I find that many people get involved in clubs and other activities and create bonds, which is actually really interesting to see sometimes.

Everyone on campus is so nice and friendly here. Its like everyone is friends. They are always willing to help out others. This is one thing that got my attention about the school.

i have not taken any of the online courses. I do hear that they are good courses and easy to work.

I understand that professors are not available all the time, but I think that the professors at my school are very helpful when they are around. They always get back to me on my e-mails I send as soon as they can. I love the assistance they provide.

I love the school I attend. I am going for Athletic Training and they are very helpful on showing me which classes i should take and planning out my years in college. The professors get to know you and make you feel very welcomed.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Because I'm a military dependent, a lot of my money takes time, and they are completely understanding. They even have a military family adviser at my school. There are emails going out about scholarship opportunities and they have a fantastic financial aid group.

Many people in my student body are going to college to actually further their career. The only two real complaints I have is the fact that there is hardly any diversity in race, and some of the kids still treat this like high school because of how local the college is.

I am a Criminal Justice major, my classes are amazing and filled with amazing students. All the classes I am taking I know will help me become a smarter person and advance me in the career field. I currently go to UW Wood County, which is I believe the smallest UW college. I find that it is very friendly, and the professors know you by name. It's a much easier transition than into a huge campus, and it's very easy to get along with most of the people and professors. The workload is alright, and the only way you can't keep up is if you have poor time management.
College Sophomore 2013-09-05T02:31:51Z
Classes are excellent and the professors at my college seem knowledgeable in their fields and with helping the students. The level of academics is high compared to most other small colleges which is nice to know you can keep learning everyday and not just waste your money. The registration process is quite easy and I've never had a problem with it yet.

Most of the people in my school (that I have met) are living with their parents and work part-time jobs, or do not work at all. A lot of them do not seem to realize what the real-world is like, and end up saying things like, "You're not like us, so go away." They seem to like to party a little too much. Once the Spring semester rolls around, class sizes drop dramatically. (It's a nice day, let's skip class.) Nobody seems to really care about their schooling.
College Senior 2013-09-01T04:08:42Z
I was a little awkward about taking online courses, because I am a person that needs face-time. Registration was extremely easy, but when it came time to use the interface, it was not user-friendly at all, and I had problems trying to get help with using it. Books for the course were also impossible to find, because I kept getting told to go to different places for the books, and that the books had different names. Ultimately, I ended up dropping the online courses, because it seemed like it was way more run-around than it would be worth.

I have not used post-grad services, and do not know if they even exist at my school.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
