I have had an INCREDIBLE experience with the campus housing at Madison. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to live in one of the most sought after dorms on campus, Liz Waters, my freshman year. There I met my best friends, whom I was sooo lucky to meet! Not only is Liz a beautiful building overlooking the lake, and lakeshore path, but it is SUPER convenient. The farthest walk for any classroom is about 9 minutes, and the shortest walk is about a minute, just across the street in Van Vleck! The room size is pretty large for a college dorm room and there is even a dinning hall in the dorm! Its a great place to live! So great, that I even decided to live there again sophomore year, with no regrets! At Madison there are two dorm regions; southeast and lakeshore. Southeast is closer to downtown and is the party dorm! Dont live there if you want to be able to study in your room. On the other hand, the lakeshore dorms on are near the lake and are older buildings with character. These dorms are quieter and arent the place for a lot of parties!
