At the University of Wisconsin- Madison, there are hundreds of majors to pick from, so you likely won't have any problem finding one that suits you. There's something to match every interest. Thus far, I have only had one semester of courses towards my biochemistry major, but they have been exciting, and I imagine it can only get better as I get into more of the specifics. More exciting, however, has been my experience in a cancer research lab to supplement my coursework. Many students find such opportunities, which is an ode to the amazing duality between coursework and research here on the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
