University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Sports!

There is a wide variety of sports that are offered at this campus for being such a small school. They offer different types of sports that appeal to almost anyone. They also have a positive attitude as well as lots of school spirit!

My school will give any new student a great experiences through there whole school years. We have plenty place where you can study and party. All the computer is are Macs but you can switch programs either from Macs or Windows. The night life is amazing on state street. Everyone goes wild and out. The best time of year is Halloween when everyone from all over Wisconsin comes and party here in madison and its called Freak Fest.

Nightlife Is Never Boring

Nightlife is for students who are 21 or older. There are a few 18-and-older clubs, but I say skip the clubs. House parties are free, the music is better, and you don’t have to pay for a cab back to campus.

Quite Satisfied With the Girls

I went to a fairly hot high school, and when I came to Madison, I was a little worried there would not be as much eye candy. I assure you the girls here are quite attractive. Most of them are nice and sweet, however they are often a little prude. If guys (or for that matter girls) are worried about finding friends, I assure you, you will not have a problem. It took me all of two days to make life long friends.

Pretty Decent

The cops and authorities realize that drinking is an inevitable part of a campus community. If your doing something stupid that draws attention to yourself then you will get in trouble. Otherwise if you keep it safe and respectable, you're fine

A Lot to Do

Madison is a great place for a college campus. On campus is State Street with plenty of familiar restaurants and shopping - Qdoba, Noodles, Five Guys, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and more. In the fall, there's always a Badger Football game and every student will be in the stands to watch and in the winter, everyone will be at the hockey games.

Party Hardy

If you're 21 or over (or if you've got a fake that works its magic), the bar scene is definitely one of the hottest and most energetic. On a similar note, you've got your standard house parties and frat parties. But regardless of where you're going and with whom, the objective is often the same - party hardy and "get it in", to borrow a phrase from "Jersey Shore"'s very own, Snookie. If you're not into all of that, Madison has its fair share of more low-key activities, like outdoor (and indoor) shows, free movie nights, food and drink at the Union, etc. At the end of the day, everything is what you make it.

BADGERS!!

There is honestly no campus that does college sports better than UW-Madison. Most of the athletic teams are highly ranked, and student attendance at athletic events is phenomenal. You can't beat Wisconsin Football Saturdays. Workout and training facilities are state of the art, and the athletic department really takes care of its student athletes. All students on campus take pride in Badger Athletics.

Drug/Alcohol Scene at the University of Wisconsin

Drug usage definitely exists at Madison, but alcohol is by far student's choice of substance. For the most part, if people are using drugs, it's weed. Although the drinking scene is huge, there are a lot of other things to do on campus if you choose not to partake.

Parking Is Useless..

Parking prices are not only exorbitant but there is no true point to parking. Thanks to a deal struck between the University and the public transportation there is free public transportation for all students. not to mention the ease of walking to classes which would require so much less time than driving and then looking for a parking spot.

Wisconsin Madison: the Place to Be in College

As many others have already stated, the University of Wisconsin-Madison is the best college campus and overall university in America. In all honesty, we have the best combination of academics, athletics, campus, nightlife/party scene, professors, school spirit, student body, course offerings, chancellor, facilities and campus. You cannot go wrong here, and the best thing is: there's something for everybody. Come see why because you will never regret it.

Facilities Are Top Notch at UW-Madison

From the South East Recreational Facility to the numerous libraries, this university's facilities are superb. Dining halls and the Memorial Union prove to be great facilities at Madison; the Kohl Center (basketball/hockey) is the best there is! Not to mention historic Camp Randall (football). The newer dorms and brand new student Union South are top-of-the line in regards to cleanliness, technology, architecture and style. Definitely noticeable and a plus when attending this university.

Alcohol Everywhere, Drugs If You Want Them

Alcohol is almost a given here in Madison at least twice a week. Everyone gets wasted and does it well. Weed is accepted pretty much everywhere, and if you want any other drugs, it won't be hard to find them at all. Drinking is more popular though. It's huge and definitely a big part of campus life. It's definitely fun.

State Street

There are many places to go eat on State Street. It's about a 10-15 minute walk if you are in the far Lakeshore dorms, but the bus can get you there just as easily. The restraunts range from really cheap to somewhat expensive, but you can always find one that has food to fit your cravings.

Awesome College Town

Madison, WI is an awesome town to go to college. On campus, there are hundreds of student organizations allowing each student to find their niche. The town itself is extremely bike and pedestrian friendly, so having a car is completely unnecessary. There is always something today, with numerous concert venues close to downtown, as well as numerous opportunities for excellent dining and shopping. When money is an issue, the parks are an excellent alternative to more expensive entertainment. Most parks have large open spaces for soccer, frisbee, and hula hooping, and many parks are located on one of Madison's three lakes. All in all, Madison is an excellent place to go to school, meet people, and have an awesome time.
