Best Ways to Get Around Town
  • many students get around by bike. There are bike lanes designated on the street. Bike racks are located by every building and residential hall. Students can also use Lakeshore path to bike on.
  • Many students have mopeds, and moped parking is available in front of every building and residential hall. A moped is a quick, convenient way to get around campus.
  • To get to the mall or movie theater, most students take the bus. However, buses make frequent stops and to get to the mall, buses stop at the West Transfer Point first, which can be a wait of 5-15mins for the next bus.
  • Walking- most students walk everywhere. Campus can be quite large, but everything is within reasonable walking distance.
Best Ways to Get to the Airport
There is not a shuttle available to get to the airport. However, most students take a cab for around $20, or have a friend who is willing to take them there.
