Did Mr. Clean Go to This School? Although the facilities at Alvernia University are relatively modest, they are kept at the upmost level of cleanliness. The gym, dormitories, library, student center, and science center are all fairly modern, yet it is the care they receive that keeps them immaculate. Visually, Alvernaia is a masterpiece.

An Education in the Franciscan Tradition – Alvernia University prides itself in being a Franciscan institution, believing that education and helping others before yourself is fundamental to leading an enlightened life. Although I have begun to ressurect my life as Christian within this past year, those who are non-religious should not feel threatened; the Franciscan faith is not thrust upon anyone. It is simply there as a complement to the university.

The computers at Alvernia University are plentiful and almost always accessible. They are situated throughout a beautiful, naturally-lit library as well as a computer lab that is open 24/7. Both of these locations become more occupied during midterms and finals, however, the university WIFI system allows those with laptops to access the Internet during such busy times. Overall, there is not a shortage of computers on campus.
