A-

Registration Process

Considering the school student population is so large, UCLA manages an efficient and fair registration process. There are two passes in order to ensure that students get a majority of the classes they need. For freshmen, specific amounts of spots are held in otherwise "closed" classes. Although there are budget cuts and UCLA is a huge school, I do not worry about getting the classes I need.

Drug Safety at University of California - Los Angeles

A-

Peer Pressure

UCLA is not known for its parties. The big parties are Thursday nights, and even these don't tend to get out of hand on campus. At UCLA, there is no pressure to drink. On the rare occasion others are pressuring you, they aren't people you want to be hanging around.

Scholarships at University of California - Los Angeles

B-

Financial Aid

UCLA gets their financial aid out very slowly. Although they are fair with the distribution of money, the final eFAN (electronic financial aid notification) comes out far into summer, obviously way after the May 1st deadline. However, considering it is a public school with budget cuts, it gives out a good amount of financial aid. Advice: be on top of your financial aid, and apply for local scholarships as well as ones through schools.
