Mostly Fast Food – The Shippensburg community provides customer friendly resident owned restaurants but you can only count them on one hand. The only places that are available to eat off- campus in a 5- 10 minute radius are fast food places but you do have about 8 places to pick from. Although if you do want to drive 15 minutes down the road, there are some great choices!

The Gym Is Amazing – The facilities at Shippensburg University are very good. The recreational center is brand new, which provides basketball courts, group exercise rooms, weight rooms, cardiorespiratory exercise machines, inside track and houses many club organized sports. The student union center (CUB) just finished its renovation and now provides numerous study and lounge rooms for the students to enjoy. The CUB "quick food" area has also expanded by bringing in a variety of new shops.

The computer labs at Shippensburg University are easily accessible and are not usually crowded. The campus provides computer labs in every academic building, which makes it convenient for each student because they can get to a computer lab no matter where they are on campus. The wireless access is accessible throughout the entire campus and it is reliable. I use the Wi-Fi service which is supplied by Shippensburg everyday. Campus also provides you with a printing quota.
