Intro Classes
I know in the future there are plenty of opportunities to learn, but during your freshman year, at least in engineering, you must trudge through a variety of intro courses in which you learn virtually nothing. Your base courses, such as chemistry, math, and biology all are very informative and in-depth, but the introductions into your specific major seemed to be simply designed to give you an "A" and take up time in your schedule. After transitioning out of freshman courses, much more valuable courses are taken.

Rec Center
The recreation facility is awesome on campus. There is plenty of space for everyone to work out and there are a variety of different classes offered completely free every day. The only downside is that you have to drive to get there, or take a long walk, as it is on the edge of campus.

Great Scholarships
Most of the scholarships are awarded automatically due to ACT or SAT scores. It makes the process easy and quick, and I know many people, including out of state-ers, who have received full tuition, and in many cases full housing as well.
