Iowa Is a Hawkeye State
Football and Wrestling at the University of Iowa are very popular and successful. Men's basketball has been in a rut for several years but with the hire of a new coach, it is becoming exciting and popular again. The men's and women's track programs are having a great year as well as the women's basketball program. The softball and field hockey programs have been successful over the years and last year the baseball team finished very well at the Big Ten Championships.

Great Programs at Iowa
The University of Iowa has great programs in engineering, nursing, athletic training and physical therapy to just name a few. It has one of the top Physical Therapy programs in the country and with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa is a terrific place to start a nursing career.
