Dorm Life
as far as drinking in the dorm, you get warnings and fines, smoking i think you get warning/fined then kicked out. a lot of RAs are very laid back and let you do what you want as long as youre not loud. most parties are off campus where police will probably break up a party, but they dont take names or IDs unless you own the house.

Best College Expericence
University of Rhode island has a lot to offer a lot of people.. its in a safe small town, but close to anything you could need, with a major city about 40 min away and the beach about 15, it offers a lot of activities. The students and staff are friendly and encouraging, and with an abundant amount of extra curricular activities you will never be bored.

Living
Dorm life is great for the first couple years but when you finally move off campus, the housing youre most likely to live in is a BEACH HOUSE. there are gorgeous towns near by right on the beach where you can rent a house with a few friends for a year. The realtors are helpful with budget and accommodations when finding you youre home
