what are the best student apartments to live in near unt

i will likely attend unt this year and i'm confused by conflicting reviews of apartments online i plan to go to Denton soon to check some places out but i want to narrow my choices some of my criteria are safety, proximity to campus, and apartment condition

NEVER go to Sterling Fry Apts. Very rude, and most importantly VERY hazardous to your health with the mother of all cell towers located right in the middle of the complex right next to students apts.

Gateway apartments are rather close to campus and are reasonable price. They are also gated and always have security there.

The Arbors of Denton are a good choice, or the University Courtyards already have furniture with the apartment.

Jackson Chang. It has a lot of apartments and has its own maintenance workers. They repair any issue about inside the apartment, including drain, internet connection, etc. all included in the rent price.

There are many apartments near and around the school, there are many good apartments that are walking distance from the school. Along with student housing from UNT, which will meet your requirements as well.

If you have the money, The Forums are great! If you are looking into something a bit more in your budget, Gateway and Campus Park Apartments are good too!

To be honest with you, i really do NOT know Denton either. I've lived in the Rio Grande Valley (farthest of South Texas) most of my life and this is the first time that i'll ever go to the north parts of TX. I wish i could help you, BUT... Sorry.

There are many nice apartments to consider. The Forum at Denton, Gateway apartments, Midtown Apartments. There is a large selection to choose from and all of them are nice.

Room for rent for students at UNT - Dallas Campus. Females only. Email: andrealmcdaniel@yahoo.com

Denton Texas has some great apartments. A particular student complex that is off campus is called " The Grove" it is fairly priced and is new. Good luck!

Primrose are the best apartments in the Denton area for students. They are not on campus and they also give student discounts.

Sterling apartments on Fry Street are great. Brand new and right next to campus. Each apartment is fully furnished. The more people you room with, the cheaper the rent will be.

Arbors of Denton are affordable, furnished apartments and just two blocks from UNT Denton campus.

Generally, the apartments each have something different that may be more appealing as well as less appealing. I personally like Gateway the best. They had the best amenities and they are first on the bus stop. Also, it seemed like the safest.

the arbors of denton is great! i lived there for about 6 months but everything is included in rent, which for a 2 bedroom was only $580. its unfurnished and pet friendly and the staff there is very friendly

If you're looking for cheap apartments then 1/4 or crash would be for you. I have 4 roommates and we're staying at Uptown they are decent Apartments. I haven't looked at expensive ones, because I don't want to fool myself in to thinking i can afford it.

depends on your price range.. The Republic is great cottage living, but a bit expensive. the Forum is also great apartments, so is midtown and uptown.

I would check out both Sterling (on Fry Street) and City Parc. Both are walking distance from campus and have ample amenities.

Jackson Change apartments are amazing and they have lots of choices!

out of state tuition

I'm thinking of attending ou but i'm from texas (not a ut fan) i want to know what is a more realistic amount of tuition that i'd expect to pay for say 12-15 hours some of my other estimates were 10000 or more

The tuition is very high for out of state students. My parents and I have had to take out several loans to pay for it. It is about 26G a year. Then you have to pay for the cost of living which also becomes expensive.

$19,277.50 *Excludes College Computer and Program Fees

https://bursar.ou.edu/tuition_fees.cfm

Honestly, I have not had to take out one loan to pay for school and I only make $160 a week. There are many scholarships that are available for people who just take the time to fill them out.

I had good grades and an above average SAT score and OU didn't waive any of my out of state tuition which is an additional $10,000 per year. OSU, on the other hand, waived everything and is now even less than the Texas schools. I'm either going to go to OSU or TTU depending on scholarships.

Approximately, the costs of OU are $26,000 for out-of-state students. With government aid, that amount may drop to $15,00 or so. It just depends on how much financial need you have and how much you can provide.

All out of state tuition is extreme.

It would be over $10,000 with dorm fees and out of state tuition.

You should expect to pay about 15,000/year.

Out of state tuition for OU is $14,802.00.

I am from Iowa and pay out of state tuition at OU, I pay about #33,000 a year for a 16 hour a semester year.

14000

I am also from texas and tuition is very expensive. As a freshman expect to pay 30K all around (housing, food, classes ect.) Student loans are a great way to go!

Out of state tuition is exponentially higher than in state tuition. It takes a year of residency to qualify for in state tuition. In general you can add at least 25% to your cost of college for out of state tuition.

Out of state tuition is pretty reasonable. It's a lot cheaper than a lot of other schools.

Tuition can be pretty pricey for those who want to come to the University of Oklahoma from other states. Once you add up tuition, the dorms, and the meal plan, the estimates of 10,000 or more are very realistic.

in state is about 14,000 so out of state is going to be way more

The tuition for this school is excellant.

I'd say that is about the realistic price. My roommate has to pay out of state tuition from texas and it is unreal. But going to a university in texas it is just about the same. And who wants to go to school in Texas, when you can go to OU?

For tuition, i would say that a semester with around 14 hours would be approximately 1,800.

do races mingle at osu

I'm thinking of attending osu next semester and i've lived in austin for 2 years where people date and have friends of other races does that go on at all at state i'm white but don't let the color of skin determine my friends or partners

Yes races do mingle at OSU, there are interracial relationships, friendships, clubs, teams and, even studygroups. I have met all different types of people at OSU and many races mingle throughout the campus.

Yes. There are a variety of different ethnic backgrounds on campus

Yes.

Of course! There isn't any discrimination on campus. There are many campus organizations that support individual races, but I have seen everyone mingle on campus. No barriers here!

There are many different races that date and you will have class with people of different races.

Yes races mingle at Oklahoma State. There are many cultural groups on campus, that even though might be geared towards a current race still welcome those of all races. Diversity is an important aspect at Oklahoma State.

Yes. But there are some cliques

Is this a serious question?
