The Entry System Is a Phenomenal Invention.
Freshmen start in an 'entry' of 20 other freshmen of different backgrounds and headed by 2 Junior Advisors (JAs). This is your surrogate family at college. Upperclassman housing is split into 4 'neighborhoods' and your room gets better throughout your 4 years.

The Freshman Housing 'Entry' System Is Awesome.
All the freshmen at Williams are divided into groups of about 20 people of different ethnic, religious, and socio-economic background. These other freshmen that you live with, as well as 2 Junior Advisors (JA's) who act as your big bro and sis, are your surrogate family.

Communication Wasn't Optimal.
I had received a couple of scholarships for freshman year, and the financial aid office wasn't very reliable with their response times this summer.

Shuttles Get Around
Williams is small enough that there's not much need for transportation around campus. However, transportation is needed to get for convenience stores, grocery shopping, and shopping in general. There are free shuttles that get to the basics, but often the seats are taken. There's also weekly transportation to/from Boston and Albany that's a very good price.

Summer Is Great, Winter Not So Much
The Fall was abnormally warm, and the Spring and Summer is beautiful at Williams. However, the Winter has been very wet and cold, it's pretty miserable.
