Food
The food around campus is much cheaper then the on-campus dining. Most of the dining areas are walking distance and taste better then the dining halls on-campus.

Typical Student
Most of the students have a lot of school spirit and wear ODU gear. There are a lot of clubs to join while on campus and the social life is out there if you want one. You just need to go and find something you like.
