Streamline Bus System
There is a great free public bus system, so a car on campus is unnecessary. I have not owned a car since living in Bozeman so I do not know much about permit costs, ticketing or parking spots.

Streamline Bus System
The bus system is wonderful. It is free and goes to all parts of town and even to the two small towns nearby. There is also a free latenight service that goes in the residential areas and on campus and to the bars. It runs Thurs. thru Sat. nights from 8pm to 3am. The only downside is that there is no service on Sundays

Snowy Days
During summer time it is very enjoyable. People are outside soaking it all up. Then winter hits. It is long and cold, and classes rarely get canceled. There are a lot of hills on campus which makes walking through on the ice very difficult. Though if you are into winter sports it is very enjoyable.
