Off Campus Dining Experience
Most of the food around campus is pretty much repetitive. There isn't much variety around the 2-3 blocks near campus but if you are willing to walk a mile or two there are satisfying restaurants. The cost of it is average depending on what you buy and the quantity of it. It can be as cheap as $3 if you just buy one item from a local fast food restaurant. There is not much student discount around campus- everything is full price. Personally, the best places to check out are Five Guys, Chipotle, Red Mango, and Waterfront Cafe.

Diversity
There is a lot of diversity around campus and a lot of new people that you've never met. Once you meet and talk with them, you get to know about their religion and beliefs. Loyola does a good job with picking students from different minorities, races, and religions. In order to encounter these people, one must be open and friendly. Students from all different economic backgrounds all come together at Loyola University.

Admissions
The process of getting into the college of liberal arts and sciences was pretty hectic. I mostly focused on my application which included my essays. Choosing a major can be hard as well so try to pick something you like. Don't pick something you dislike doing, but even if you do you can change it once you get to Loyola. The college of liberal arts and sciences did not have a abnormal application process. Those are usually for quick paced programs such as pharmacy. The most important criteria for admissions is your essay, GPA, and overall involvement at school.
