Safe Environment
Wake Forest has a very small student population where the first two years at the school require the student to live on campus. Because there are many dorms and student living on campus, it is extremely safe. At night, there is gated entry and 24-hour security working the gate. Also, the campus is patrolled by police officers in golf carts. I have never once felt threatened while on campus. Additionally, there is very little crime. Students leave laptops and textbooks around with no fear of theft.

Mandatory Three Years??
Thankfully I am a Junior, but starting with this year's freshmen class they will have to live on campus for three years!!! The best freshman dorm would have to be the newest one, South Hall, form what I've heard. Try to get the corner rooms too, they're the biggest! As for the rest, they're livable but may need an air filter for all the mildew and dust. However, the oldest dorms have the best location on campus and are most convenient for a midday nap between classes

Wake's Very Own Barn
Wake Forest understands that college students party regardless of the punishments or risks associated with alcohol or drugs. Recently, Wake built a large building on campus nicknamed "The Barn". Essentially, it is a club with a DJ booth, stage, dancing floor, multiple beer pong tables, a VIP loft area, and its location eliminates the need to drive.
