Campus Dining
I would say the campus dining halls are not bad. They offer a variety of food choices to satisfy any craving. I am anxious to see what the new student union has that we already don't have. The library is four floors, each with computer areas for students, it offers an inviting study area. The overall feel of the campus isn't bad, depending on the amount of construction going on at a certain time. I would say that they need to figure out how to control the flooding because it is getting ridiculous.

Diversity
Our school has a lot of bi, gay, an lesbian individuals. I don't see them in a different way, they just choose to love in a way that some other people do not agree with. There is a wide range of economic background. There are the ones that parents barely make enough to pay the monthly bills, the ones that have enough to pay the monthly bills, but if they want something like a new t.v. they cannot afford, the ones that live nice lives and an afford to buy the items they want, and the individuals that can afford to pay for tuition without scholarships. My biggest issue with many scholarships is that the sponsors believe just because individuals come from a middle-class family, they don't need scholarships. That assumption is not true, our family has that money, not us. Many parents have the individual pay for college out of his or her own pocket in hopes that they'll put more effort into an education he or she is paying for. MTSU does a nice job of offering scholarships based on grades and financial need, not just one or the other.

Financial Aid
I received financial aid based on my gpa. As I stated in my last open response, MTSU does a pretty good job of offering financial aid based on gpa and financial need, rather than one or the other. I did have to keep an eye on the process just because computer problems would create issues such as not showing previously received paperwork, but other than that, the financial aid process isn't bad. To get a scholarship, I would keep at least a 3.5 gpa, the higher, the better award you receive. I would also watch my pipeline account for mssgs about required papers.
