Small Classes, Tough Engineering, but Great Professors
I came to Union College undecided. I always have had some interest in the sciences. I began by taking Math, Chemistry, and Physics courses. These courses naturally aligned with the bio engineering curriculum and I have always had interests in biology so it was a perfect fit. The engineering course load is much more difficult than any of the other majors the school offers. The professors are great and they are always there to help. Having small classes of around 15 for all my engineering classes is also a big help.

Campus Saftey Should Worry About Outsiders Not Student Drinking
Campus Safety is getting very strict. Union received a ranking of 13th party school in the nation via the Princeton review. A very unwarrented ranking when you try to compare us to large schools with 30,000 students. We do have fun but we don't by any means compare to large state schools in that regard. Campus Safety needs to worry more about random people from the city walking around campus more than they should worry about students drinking in dorm rooms.

Parking Is Rare at Underclassmen Dorms but Theres Plenty for Upperclassmen
Around the underclassmen dorms there is limited parking. Freshmen are not allowed to have cars. Around the upperclassmen residential areas parking is always available except during hockey and football games. Parking permits are cheap too.
