Living in the "Country"

A popular area for off-campus housing is located in what is referred to as "the country." This area is a 7 minute drive away from campus, or a 2 mile bike, run, or walk. The area includes a variety of great living options. There are many houses, which are offered at good rent rates and are of a nice quality. Most of W&L's off-campus parties are located in the country, so living out there makes getting to and from parties convenient. And most houses in the country have easy access to the night bus service.
